Personality:
Melancholic, maudlin, and a little mad.

Fighting Notes:
- Proficient in the use of two naginata bound with cord that are linkable
- More often utilizes mysterious hands made of shadows that come out from the ground. Whether or not she controls them or they control her is unclear, but even when she seems to be asleep or not mentally present they care for her with a noted gentleness. They can slash, grab, pull underground, carry, drain the life from another, and occasionally attach to Oichi's back as wings that allow for short bursts of flight.

Linguistic Notes:
- While the character's name is usually written as Oichi it's more accurate to write "O-Ichi," as the "O" is an honorific, not actually part of her name. This is why she, Nobunaga, and Nagamasa refer to her simply as "Ichi." For prose purposes I'll be writing her as "Oichi," both because it's basically how we've naturalized her name for English-reading audiences, and because pretty much everyone, even the narrator, gives her more respect than she gives herself.

- For the most part I will be playing Oichi from the linguistic choices of the English dubbing of both the anime and the game, which does not include the fact that she refers to herself in the 3rd person. If you'd prefer otherwise for a thread, please let me know.
